  1. Not having any background or experience in either science or technology I would be taking a (an educated) guess at  this question.....

    Here goes:

science is the term given for the investigation of all things biological and living - or having biological and/or organic abilities..... their molecular makeup, reproduction, performances under difference circumstances, how they thrive - or die....... technology is the development of something similar but which is manmade and non-biological or organic..... therefore the molecular makeup of materials, how they perform in various circumstances, how they perform combined with other materials, stress levels, optimum performance - all put together to create a non-living structure be it huge or minute .... so studying science and technology would teach you the makeup, strength and weaknesses, material performance, optimum conditions for performance, molecular make up of the materials you are using - to combine to create a structure like a bridge for instance, or a micro chip..... In other words, 'Science and Technology' is about the interrelationship of science and technology as a concept and the ability to take this concept to make something - and something that works- by knowing what it is, what it's made from, how it works on it's own, how it works together with other components, what it's strengths and weaknesses are, and so on and so forth......

    Hope this helps...

    :)
