  1. Tomatoes can be dispersed by animals -- in the wild the fruit is consumed and the seeds pass through.  In a garden setting, it is usually that a fruit drops.  Whether it splits open to spill its contents or the fruit disintigrates on the spot where it falls, the seeds are left on the soil.  They can be covered by leaf debris or tilled into the soil.  When spring comes the following year, they will germinate and grow into new plants.


  2. animal internal e.g. tomato, plum, raspberry, grape have brightly coloured and succulent fruits which contain seeds with indigestible coats which allow the seeds to pass through the animal undamaged
