How are sirius satellite radios powered?

like do you plug them in or are they battery powered? rechargable batteries??

The sportster is a dock player, so it gets power from the dock. In the car, it can either get hard wired to your battery or (more traditionally) it draws power from your cig lighter. If you move it to a boombox or home dock, you will have to plug the dock in which provides the radio power. I have a sportster 4 and have been very happy with it for over 2 yrs now (the 5 is basically a 4 with a prettier display).
