  1. They are all parts of the same continent.

  2. Sudan is a country bordered by Egypt to the north; the Red Sea, Eritrea, and Ethiopia to the east; Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire) to the south, Central African Republic, Chad and Libya to the west.

South Africa also is a country located on the southern end of Africa.  It is bordered by Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe on the north, Mozambique and the Indian Ocean to the east and south and the Atlantic Ocean to the south and west.  South Africa also surrounds the countries of Swaziland and Lesotho.

West Africa and East Africa are areas of Africa.  Generally West Africa are the countries on the Atlantic side while East Africa are the countries on the Red Sea/Indian Ocean side.  If you take a map of Africa you can divide it into five (5) sections:  North Africa would be the countries that border the Mediterranean Sea; West Africa are the countries that border the North Africa countries over to about Chad and Cameroon; East Africa are the countries that border the North Africa countries over to about Sudan/Central African Republic; South Africa, the region, are South Africa, the country and the countries that border South Africa plus Madagascar.  Central Africa would be the rest of the continent.  The areas are approximate so don't argue if someone says Chad is in East Africa instead of West Africa.
