  1. Spoiled brats, no moral values, money driven.

My theory is that: IT HAS TO COME FROM SOMEWHERE!

  2. theyre not, all those things are b/s

  3. Teenagers are portrayed as self-absorbed, followers, rebellious, greedy people that fail to see the real importance in life.

This view that a lot of elderly people have on teenagers really angers me. I feel so great when someone actually gives you a chance to have an intellectual conversation, knowing that you are a teenager. I love the feeling of proving adults wrong about this stereotypical judgement. Being a teenager, to be honest their are alot of rebellious teens out there. I just hate being cut down because of my age, as I know that I don't base elderly people on the things that you hear about them. Alot of people just brush you off because your a teen, but you know what that says, that the people who are labelling you before they know you are acctually more immature than you are.

Sorry, I got fairly carried away with my answer their and went completely off topic. I just feel so passionately about this, how I have to prove myself different to every person I meet because i'm 15 and because of the view the media portrays of teenagers, like the whole media release with Corey Worthington, they only show the bad things.

The media always focuses on the bad of everything, i'm sure their are teenagers out there who do some really fantastic things, I know friends that raise money for charaties and do volunteer work etc. It is very rarely that the media shows the good that come out of teenagers...

    Have a good night :)
