How are the CA State workers managing now their wages have been cut to minimum wage?

It's supposed to be temporary until the budget is passed but these people are doing their jobs; why aren't the government taking a cut too!!! (They aren't doing their job).

The State Controller is refusing to implement the Governor's order on the basis that the order is illegal (which it probably is).  The people who do seem to be injured are the temporary employees who have been laid off.
