How are the Cubs completely useless by September?

Is it just clueless fans that jump on the bandwagon and say what they read from others on here. If I recall correctly, last September the Brewers were leading the division and the Cubs came back to win the division. Not the Cardinals, not the Brewers, not the Astros, the Cubs won the division. Yes the Cubs got knocked out of the playoffs in the first round (which for you clueless fans out there may not know, happens in October), but at least they were in the playoffs and not watching from home. I think that people that use this statement are just unable to grasp the concept of the game of baseball because they somehow feel that the past has something to do with the present.

  1. To me it's just a cute catch phrase made up by someone who really doesn't like the Cubs. So the play offs are in October, it's still just a catch phrase & yes the Cubs did make the play offs last season, but it doesn't mean as much a WS title which the Cardinals do have in recent years & I am not a fan or hater of neither team

  2. what is the question? you did not make a question!

  3. This is why I'd much prefer the baseball fan to the team fan.

You get the dumbest concepts from people that like a team so much that they automatically hate (and must criticize) division or city rivals.

They've got small brains, let it bounce off of you.

As a Toronto fan, who DOESN'T want my team in the playoffs until their GM is fired, I'm rooting for the Cubbies, if not, the Rays because both would be brilliant baseball stories.

  4. Its just a cute little catch phrase

    Completely

    Useless

    By

    September

Real baseball fans know its not true Its just something Cub hater use to poke fun at Cubs fans.
