  1. i think they way America perceives England is rediculous

    We don't speak like the queen

    We don't care ahout the queen

    We don't all wear suits and act posh

    We don't all like tea

    We dont eat crumpets and scones all the time

    We do't used slang from the 20's

    NOONE under 80 is called Nigel

    We're certainly not prudish

    We aren't polite all the time


  2. The English are great friends to the USA.  I would very much like to one day travel there.  We southern people with our ascent really like to hear the English speak, there is quite a difference in the two accents.

    We have many English friends here and my husband's best friend in the States is from London.

  6. Over here in the USA we think that the English, (Not the Scottish, Welsh or Irish) are far superior to us. We dwell on there every word and gesture and hopefully learn something.
