How are the Ewells and the Cunninghams (From Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird) Similar?

I have to make a venn diagram comparing the two families. I have already written their differences and I understand that they are both poor....but how else are they similar based on the first 6 chapters of the book?

    im not sure though..

    could it be that.. niether of the families have been brought up to be polite?

    or.. they are both well-known in the town, for bad things.

  2. They are on the bottom rung of the social ladder in Maycombe society, to put it simply. The Cunninghams are extremely poor and lack education, whilst the Ewells are just trash.
