How are the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment connected?

well the scientific reovlution was a new way of thinking of the natural world based on careful observation and a willingness to accept beliefs, so what it did was set up the path for the enlightenment. The scientific reovlution helped people looke beyond science. They used the sceince to come up with laws for nature and human behavior. that is why is it called the age of reason

The Scientific Revolution fueled new ways of thinking about religion, science and the natural world.  Prior to the revolution, religion was deeply connected with science - so much that a student of medicine could not study for an MD until they had first received a master's in theology!  Obviously, as stated above, the Scientific Revolution led to an openness of experimentation and room for observation.
