How are the giants a "fluke"?

Question

They beat the redskins, cowboys, packers, AND the "undefeated" Patriots.

How are they a "fluke"? I think they deserved to win the championship if they beat out the best teams in the NFL, don't you think?

I think people are mad cause they thought the cowgirls or Patriots were going to win it all and they thought they were "football experts".

Please, it takes heart to win a championship. Eli Manning proved that.

I am a Bears fan.

Fluke...

1. the Pats came back enough actually.  The Defesne blew the lead in that game, and the eli to Tyree catch.  The offensive line didn;t Ratle Brady THAT much.

2. The Redsklins suck, the Cowboys are self destructive as is Brett Farve. - this is just on a consistent playoff basis)

Eli played well, but he was tired of being compared to Peyton, He didn't have any Heart, he was just playing precise..He didn't really WANT the win.  Also, the Giants had 3 games they lost to Pats..if they didn;t win the 3rd, it would've been stupid

They're not a fluke. They are an example of the parity in todays NFL. Any team can beat any other on any given day.

The Superbowl came down to a couple of things.

1. Strengths - The Giants D, more specifically the pass rush, was better than the Pats passing game.

2. Attitude - The Pats had a "we're invinsible" attitude. They said "We're gonna throw 30 passes and score 50, try to stop us" The Pats could've ran for 200 yds, but were stubborn.

3. Leadership - While Brady was yelling at his teammates and crying to the refs everytime he got hit or threw a bad pass, Strahan was on the other sideline like a cheerleader. Strahan stayed positive even when they were down in the 4th.

they aren't they had a good draft and as everybody knows it takes time for rookies to preform well that time hasn't past in the regular season but when the playoffs arrived these rookies were experienced and they could beat all those good teams couse they was the best team and they wanted it more it's like basketball you got to have the willingness to make big plays

They made a run they couldn't possibly expect to repeat. Isn't that the definition of a fluke?

It has nothing to do with whether or not you think they deserved it more. The team that wins deserves it, which was the Giants.
