  1. They get on the ballot and then the people of the city vote. Each council member get on the ballot in a certain seat, that is what position they are running for.


  2. No mayor her Just a council. One of which is the town supervisor.  All elected, but since they are part time jobs with minimum salary there never is much competition for the jobs.

  3. By voters with proof of residency in that particular municipality.

  4. They are elected by the registered voters who reside in the municipality, unless a vacancy occurs mid-term. In that case, the council appoints someone to fill the vacancy until the next election. Voters then decide who will fill the spot until the end of the term.
