How are the new jersey nets going to do in the 08-09 season?

how are the nets going to do? will they get a good record?do you think that the nets will play in the playoffs

They will be much worse than last year. They traded away their 2 best players (Kidd and Jefferson) for 2 scrubs, and a kid with some potential to be good in a couple years (Devin Harris). They're basically sacrificing any hopes of winning this year, for the chance of getting Lebron in 2010. And when Lebron either stays in Cleveland, or goes to the Knicks, the Nets will really be screwed.

i think they have a shot but they probably end up like 40-42 and make the playoffs if Vince Carter can help out the kids like Harris, Roberts, Lopez, Anderson, Dooling, and Yi. I think they have an okay roster full with young talent but Vince Carter is basically the key of the team.

They need time to build team chemistry, so I don't think that they will make the playoffs this year...but I think they will come pretty close. I predict their record as being 38-44. I think Devin Harris will have a breakout year and Chris Douglas Roberts and Ryan Anderson will both have strong rookie seasons
