  1. My husband's parents where never married and she never told me she was mistreated in any way. Of course it's hard to raise a child all by yourself, just like in other countries. But her parents helped. Maybe they where just an opened familly, I don't know, but everything worked out great.

  2. Everyone see's situations differently.  It depends on who is doing the viewing and from where they are standing.  Surely the entire situation is frowned upon by the majority of people here but it is also usually hidden or kept secret.  It is rare that a baby born outside of marriage is kept but not unheard of.  That fact is often hidden.

Most single women give their children up, as most of the men won't marry the woman or take responsibility.  They often leave to give birth and no one, even their family, may know they had a baby.  Yes there are some women who keep the child but they often go live someplace else, with other family etc where people won't know they had a child outside of marriage.

Basically ppl talk about it, ppl don't look upon the situation as okay but most ppl in general are respectful and aren't going to say anything directly to the parents.

  3. it all depends on how open minded the morocan is, being an Islamic country its still frowned upon by most ppl.

  4. Mad Mullahs and they get boiled alive in the desert after having their fingernails pulled out by pliers.

  5. The children are fine, it's the parents who are ridiculed.  s*x outside of marriage is forbidden.
