  1. owner of horse picks his/her colours. if they have 2 runners in race, jockeys wear same silks but diff colour caps

    Some trainers have a barn name lets say B/S blue and white

    those belong to the trainer his barn is Blane Swanavelt

    ok I spelled it wrong

    But then he may have a owner that wants his own colors so he has them made and have them registered under his name

    Our colors where white with a Gold Diamond

    the Chambless Racing Barn NOW IF A OWNER Had a farm or their own logo they or we had them run under their colors
