How are the silks that they jockey's ride in picked?

owner of horse picks his/her colours. if they have 2 runners in race, jockeys wear same silks but diff colour caps

Some trainers have a barn name lets say B/S blue and white

those belong to the trainer his barn is Blane Swanavelt

But then he may have a owner that wants his own colors so he has them made and have them registered under his name
