How are the temperatures in Canada getting affected by global warming?

we all may feel that it is hotter and all but are there any statistics to prove it?

  1. Ten thousand years ago, Canada was covered by over a mile of ice, year-round.  The glaciers reached as far south as New York.  Now, thanks to global warming, you can actually live there.  That's how the temperatures have been affected, as proven by recent history.

    You should hope the warmth continues, because if it gets a little chillier, Canada may become uninhabitable again.  As it warms, you'll experience a longer growing season, more diversity of wildlife and more enjoyable outdoor weather.

Winters are now two to three weeks behind what has been considered normal and spring is now two to three weeks earlier.  Much of southern Canada, especially southern Ontario, now spend much of the winter under the influence of air masses south of the polar jet, meaning temperatures are typically much warmer.
