  1. There isn't a term for it. They will say "My son/daughter -in-law's mother" to refer to each other. There is no blood relation, obviously.

  2. They will NOT be related.  In genealogy, relationships are afixed at birth, by blood ties, and are not changable.  The very FEW exceptions that are acknowledged relationships by marriage, which are not permanent as the relationship from a genealogical point ends when the marriage ends (although the emotional connection in the relationships formed may go on) are:  Mother / Father / Brother / Sister in-law; and Step mother / father / brother / sister.  Also, for extended family, the spouse of your parents siblings (your aunts and uncles) will be your aunt / uncle as well.  If your mother's sister divorces her husband, then he is no longer your uncle.

In the case of steps and in-laws, you do NOT acquire the whole extended family of your spouse, his parents, his aunts/uncles, etc.  Your spouse's uncle does not become your uncle.  Or in the case of step family, your step brother/sister's cousins do not become your cousins.

  3. They wont be. They can consider the titles Mother-in -law to apply to both parties for introduction purposes. Otherwise there is not relationship established thus far.

  4. we are all related - remember Adam-Eve

  5. Some people claim it but its really no relation, YOU are related to your mother in law and you wife is related to YOUR mother but those 2 are no relation. Same goes for your brother wont be related to her sister. But its still ok to claim them in the family.

  6. No ur Mother and Mother-In-Law will not be related, but in my family Mothers and Mother-In-Laws are considered no-relation family members
