On the bottom right you can download the scorecard

Take a look at this scorecard (from my golf course)

It is a par 68, with a standard scratch of 66 on yellow and 67 on white.

I feel this golf course is much easier than alot of golf courses just because it has smaller holes.

Looking at the scorecard from its distance/SS etc how good am I shooting:

I am a 16.0 handicap: is that ok for this course, what would you expect bogey golfers to shoot?

Good game I can shoot as low as 9over which is 77gross

Ok game I shoot around my handicap which is mid80s

Bad round I shoot up to 24over which is 92

I am a golfer which has mixed rounds.

If I was to go another golf course say a real professional course how many strokes would I expect to add onto my game....in a good,ok and bad game

  1. I expect that if you were playing the Open course this weekend you might struggle to break 150.  If you have a legitimate 16 handicap, you should be able to translate that on other courses looking at their SS numbers.

Your 16 might be a 20 or more on a par 72 pro course.  As a 20, your scores should average around 92.  mid to high 80s on a good day and high 90s on a bad day.

  2. Interesting course layout, a lot of short holes, but then some tough ones too.  Total yardage is about 1000 to 1500 yards shorter than most, but if you had a good day I would think you would only be about 5 or six shots more.
