How are times magazine packaged when you recieve it?

I recently recieved my first times magazine in the mail. Im starting to subscribe it because I like the magazine as well as the fact that it can be collected. So I was wondering when they are sent why isn't it in a plastic wrapping like any other magazine, or maybe its just mine; because my magazine is now all shrivelled and nasty looking because it was bent like 5 ways in my small mail box and it doesn't have a plastic wrapping to protect it from the humidity

Yes the magazine should be in a plastic wrap. And there is usually a strip of white paper on it with adressee's name and address.
