Doesn't a bad economy mean that we are surviving badly because money, goods, and services are not exchanging hands?

  1. Survival of the Fittest. There are no hand outs in a Capitalist Society. You have the freedom to make as much money any way possible. If you choose not to, you then can suffer the fate you've chosen.

  2. A bad economy might mean that goods are not exchanged as much, but there will always be exchange.  Are you not buying anything at all now?  No.  You're buying something.

Here are very simple ways to survive a bad economy: don't spend more than you make; save money for an emergency;  invest in your own development through training, education and gaining experience;  make responsible choices; be valuable to others - employers, customers, friends.
