  1. Her grandfather is your Great Uncle.

Your mother or dad is a cousin to her mother or dad

You are a 2nd cousin to her mom/dad's  (properly stated as cousin once removed)

Since she is your 2nd cousin's child she is your 3rd cousin (properly stated as your cousin twice removed)

  2. 2nd Cousin

Your Grandmothers brother is your Great Uncle

    Love & Blessings

    Milly

  3. I believe you'd be 2nd cousins:

    the grandparents=brother and sister

    their children = 1st cousins

their grandchildren (you and the girl)=2nd cousins

My source comes from my own humungous family. My maternal grandmother was one of 12 surviving children (as were EACH of her parents), and 2 of her brothers and 2 of her sisters married into the SAME Jones family (Johnson brothers married the Jones sisters, etc), so all of their children were DOUBLE 1st cousins. At the annual Johnson/Jones reunion, we have several 5 generations because of this.  =D

  4. 2nd cousins

    Your grandparents children were siblings.

Their children are first cousins to each other as they share the same grandparents.

    That makes you 2nd cousins.

Now, suppose you are a generation removed.  Your parents first cousins are your first cousins once removed because you are one generation removed coming down from a common ancestor.  Your parents' and their first cousins' were there parents but they were your grandparents.

  5. Second cousins. Both your parents are 1st cousins.
