How are you Aussies coping with higher fuel and food prices?

I guess we're coping ok (my family atleast) we are having to cut back on going out as much. Its quite annoying that at the same time that the fuel price has increased everything else has.

Cutting back on other luxuries.  Just pay bills, fuel and get the basic groceries.  nothing else.

with much difficulty, I live in an  largish country town , Mainly made from mining, where my parent are just a walk or bike ride away, so we're lucky that way.Also we have a large vegetable garden so we go good.
