How are you able to study abroad you Freshman year of college?

I want to study abroad in France. How can I make this possible?

you can do that, but i would recommend doing taking a gap year and going to France. taking a gap year does not look bad on a college application as long as you can prove that you took the gap year to do something enriching like a gap year program in France, not to just goof off.
