  1. All you have is a lap bar. It's all you need (and in fact you could ride the thing without a lap bar) due to the forces your body will experience on the ride. You will always be forced back or down and back or down into your seat and therefore physically you can't remove yourself from it.

    For example, if you can imagine yourself as a mass in a seat moving at a constant speed on a track towards a loop. You as that mass will want to move in a straight line regardless of what other forces apply. However, the chair starts to enter the loop and therefore your body is forced to follow and therefore is pushed down and back into the seat. It's the same the whole way around the loop.

    I love this ride, it's amazing. It's not large like others but it certainly is just so fun.
