How are you supposed to dance at a dance?

HELP! I have no clue how i'm supposed to dance at my school dances. When certain songs are on that have a dance that go with them its easy but when other songs are playing how do you dance?

look at what other people are doing... dancing s really easier than most people think. move to the beat and feel the rythmn. if its a rock song then jump up and down and do some head banging, rap or r&b bring it back, drop it like its hot, and pop it. its not that hard you know

You bend your knees and bounce up and down, ocassionally putting your arms in the air and swaying side to side.

Pretty basic.
