  1. If it is mother tincture in homeopathic form five drops in one ounce of water three times a day.   Information above should not be substituted for prescription.

  2. Well you can just put it in a small glass of water thats all.

  3. usually tinctures are alcohol-based and for topical (skin) application (ie iodine tincture)....I don't think I would drink it if it doesn't say so on the label...

  4. 10 drops in half cup of water n drink it 3 times a day........simple

  5. Probably what you bought is a Ginseng Liquid Extract. Typically, "tincture" is referring to a home-made extract. And I can't imagine any reputable brand not having dosage on the label. If you bought this from an herbalist making their own tinctures, call them up and ask for advice.

Anyway, usual dose for ginseng extract is 20 to 30 drops, based on an average adult of 150 pounds. You can put it directly on the tongue, but the alcohol is hot and can cause a burn if you're sensitive, so it is usually diluted slightly. Even a tablespoon of juice or water will prevent the burn, but if you want a cup of tea you can add the extract to 6 ounces of hot water and sweeten with honey. Ginseng, when one first takes it, is a stimulant so should be taken in the morning or early afternoon, no more than 2x daily.

  6. Usually a few drops in 8oz of water.  Call a health food store that sells them or look the product up online to see if there are directions.

  7. If there is a dropper in it, put 15 drops either in a glass of water or directly under your tongue.
