I believe port has been doing worse than WC. Port have been tanking since the start of the season. Where west coast have been unable to put up some wins

I can't blame them for being happy with the win, I know that if my team performed badly all year that I would be over the moon with a victory! I do think that some supporters are a little arrogant, but every team has those. Let them enjoy their win!

They are a rebuilding side of young players and john worsfold the coach is letting all the younger players have a go, plus almost every senior player is out with injury.

The fact that west coast have beaten st kilda and essendon in the last 3 weeks is really wonderful and it shows how they are rebuilding into a future.

We haven't got a wooden spoon yet but we do have three premierships we can be proud of since we joined how many has your team got.

Oh come on give them a break. they won the premieship and were a great champion side only 2 years ago. theyve lost great players but wait when all their young players click and develop n mature, you wont be saying nothing then. They will be a force again. No team can stay up forever.

Nothing wrong with getting excited when your team win a game - especially when the wins have been few and far between. Iove a supporter who is passionate for their team - be it Geelong or Melbourne and anyone in between.

Don't knock us or our club - though I suspect this question was posted in response to "how good are WCE?...."

I guess there are a few of both who are clutching at straws.

I saw the young Essendon squad(of 25 available players due to injury)beat Melbourne last week. They were so tired I felt like saying"have your hot milk and then off to bed" - many of them aren't much older than that. But I didn't brag about it because it wasn't a victory, so much as a brave achievement. Like the Maggies' defeat of St Kilda on Saturday.

The WCE won't recover its previous strength till late in 2009, if at all that year, what Judd's leaving and Cousins' self-medicating has done can't be healed in 12 months.
