I have a clean bill of health, 26 year old male, but I'm starting to think that drinking a 16 oz Rockstar everyday isn't the best thing for me.

  1. On the sugar front, real actual sugar is better for you than any chemical sugar substitute.

On the caffeine and energy front, this depends on your general lifestyle. Are you always active and on the go? Do you have a reason for wanting that extra pep?

On the other hand, you say you limit your intake to only one per day, so it could certainly be worse. Try doing without for a week and see how you feel.

  2. Drinking this daily is not good for you and you could be or get addicted as well.

This kind of thing really should be reserved for an "as needed" basis like if you have studying to do late at night or you have to drive some place late at night.

Other than a legit purpose these are not at all good for you.

I used to drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks and I switched to water and fresh juices and I had a "down period" for about a week lots of headaches, tired all of the time etc. However, after that week I found that I actually had more energy and it was more sustained. I was not subjected to the "highs and lows" of energy drinks.

  3. Try getting laid....that should help give you energy!
