  1. Expect to get about 13 in town and 18 (at best) on the highway.  I would worry more about the insurance costs.  The Cadillac Escalade is currently the most expensive vehicle in America to for an insurance company to insure.  And, as a 16-year-old, you're insurance costs will be ridiculous.  Another problem...any Escalade with only 45K miles on it being sold for 5 grand has to have something wrong with it.  It's either been in a wreck or is bound to have a massive engine/transmission failure soon.  Stay away from this vehicle.

Also...just my opinion...but Escalades suck.  It's just a Chevy Tahoe with funky lights and a Cadillac grille on it.  I've driven one, and it's neither very smooth or fast...so I think they're immensely overrated.  Not to mention they roll over easily and a vehicle with 26" rims and TVs is just BEGGING to get keyed, broken into, or stolen (the Escalade is also one of the top 5 most-stolen vehicles in the USA).

So basically, I think it's a horrible idea for you to buy this thing.  Get a more sensible luxury car like a Lexus ES300 or something similar.
