Okay so I am trying to catch these mice that are running havoc in my garden. I set up a non lethal trap to catch them. I cought one before but he was able to escape. But when i did have him, he wouldnt run away from my hand. So if i hold the mouse next time, would he bite me? And how bad would the injury be? I live in Hawaii, so there are no rabies here. Just germs and fleas on the mice. I am just wondering, would it be safe to hold the mouse without a glove?

  1. when ever i take mine out i where leather gloves.if he bites it will bleed

  2. i have a guinea pig and it hurts when they bite hurt! wear heavy duty gloves to protect against diesies and pain.

  3. i have never gotten bit by one of my mice but by one of my friends' mouse and it didn't hurt to bad but it made me bleed a little though. I think it would be pretty safe to hold him but just to be safe i would hold him with a towel that had your scent on it. if he doesn't bite that then it would be safe to hold him. good luck!

  4. it dosn't hurt but it does shock you.

  5. You can get rabies. Non-native parasites have been brought there.

  6. They only hurt for a minute

  7. You may not get rabies but you could get tetanus which, if severe enough, can kill you. I wouldn't be touching them without chain mail gloves on and even then I'd be asking a professional to do it.

  8. I wouldn't without a glove, I worked on a farm for years and would find them in the grain, just grab them with a glove and throw them on the ground hard as you can. If it doesn't work the first time repeat, I try to get them on the first throw to make it quick.

  9. ask their dinner how bad the bite was!

    Call an exterminator for advice

  10. mouse bites suck a little bit...they arent horrible but mouse bites hurt worse than when my snakes bite me...
