How bad do the shots hurt that u have to get b4 u go into the 7th grade

I have to get 4 frikin shots the 12th this month and I had to get them a loooooong time ago but the lady that gave them to me was like really mean and was diggin for gold in my arms and legs I got those when I started school tho Kindergarten was when I got them but how bad do they hurt. PLZ help I am TERRIFiED of needles cause of the lady so yea. HOW BAD DO THEY HURT. I am 12 and hate em I wonder if ill get a bunny after that cause I really want a bunny so ill try to talk my mom into it. Just tell me how bad the shots hurrt plz.

It doesn't hurt. Only the waiting for the shot is making you anxious. Try pinching your arm real quick. That's it.

I had to get my shots last year, and it like hurts but its not like, your going to die pain. It doesn't hurt that bad. Of course it hurt but it was all over with in like a second. I'd suggest don't look at the needle when your getting your shots.  And I don't think you'll get a bunny for getting a shot. Overall shots don't really hurt.

It's not too bad. Sit still and try to relax---yeah, impossible, but try not to tighten your muscles or it makes it hurt worse.

My son just had his shots and the first two weren't too bad, but the third stung a little. He HATES shots and had been dreading them since he was in second grade.....but he did admit that it wasn't as bad as he remembered or as bad as he thought it would be.

The nurse won't have to "dig" because she is giving a shot---not drawing blood. So it will be a quick stick and a bandaid.

How bad does the shot hurt? Have you ever banged your shin on something? banging your shin hurts much more than the shots.

The most important rule to remember when getting shots is to not tense up .That causes your muscles to firm up and it hurts worse. I usually concentrate on a point in the room and count or think about a happy thought.  I don't think they use regular needles anymore. Most places use a air gun and it takes only a second for each shot. On the way to your appointment try to listen to claming music and not think about it :)

I am not going to lie.  All shots hurt.  Intramuscular ones hurt the worst.  But think of it this way...It might be painful for a few seconds, but it will protect you from very serious illnesses and diseases.  

Just don't look and it will be over before you know it.

pinch your arm -that's it!!  your anticipation is much worse than the millisecond of pain.

No, you won't get a rabbit because you need medicine for school...

These shots won't hurt any more or less than normal shots. However, since you're a lot older, you likely have a higher pain tolerance, so these will just feel like a little prick and then it's done.
