How bad do you predict the Mavericks will be this season?

I just saw Kidd play in their game against China (I only watched the 1st half because it was already 11:00 pm here and I had to go to school). I must say he's slow. Also, when I checked out his stats, 3 TO and 2 steals. WOW! I'm very disappointed. I know Dirk's determination to win the championship and I know Dirk has a lot left in him but Kidd's the one running the point. He also couldn't defend anymore. And all this time I thought it was AVERY's fault that he didn't know how to use Kidd. But I guess Kidd pretty much is slow already.

I agree with you about Jason Kidd he is not the same Jason Kidd from 5 years ago. I still think the Mavericks will have a good season because they are a really good team. Mavs will win about 48-52 games.

They should make the playoffs, but I dont think they will at a high seed. They got enough talent on they roster for another year or two to be right there in the playoff race... but yeah the mavs are just about done unless they start making moves. If they wouldve kept Devin Harris, this wouldve been avoided

The West is very deep next year, but its not the same as last year. With Golden State definitely going to be worse and Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix all getting older. There is a lot of mediocrity in the west. I think Dallas will compete with LAC and Golden State for the eighth spot and if Dirk can get on a roll late in the season, they should have a good chance to make it.

The mavs will more than likely make a trade or a sign that will put them over the cap and at least get them into the playoffs at a lower seed. Cuban decision to go with that trade was horrible to begin with, but they must now adjust to what they don't have anymore by signing or trading what little they have left. they could really use a couple of young fresh legs that could support them in the stretches but seeing as how it is the west that is going to be hard
