How bad does a Golden retriever, Labrador retriever, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel smell?

Have any suggestions for other dogs? And please, REASONS! I live in a town home, so it can not be too yappy. I am willing to take him/her out to jog 2 times a day.

if you keep it clean and not outside all the time, they won't really smell. Most labs, golden retrievers, etc make excellent dogs. AND the smaller the dog, the more they bark :( i have 2 mini dachs and they yap all the time, its awful.

i would find a younger/puppy dog from a shelter that you find has a good personality, they make such wonderful pets and friends!

They all smell like dogs, and dogs smell better/less if they're on a good diet.

Honestly nobody here is going to be able to give you a breed recommendation based solely on you taking it jogging twice a day.

any animal can smell if they are not given a bath. for the most part rule of thumb is if you are not showing the dog giving them a bath every 2 months is ok. if you bath a dog too often it can strip the natural oils out of their coats.  just for the record any dog can be yappy except maybe a basenji. depending on the size of your town home any dog can thrive as long as you look after its needs. exercise is important.

all dogs smell if you want a dog with no "doggy odor" then get a italian greyhound or basenji or dog that will have hair not fur

Any dog will smell.

The best ways to prevent dog odor is to keep your dog clean and healthy.  Bathe him every month, brush him out every other day (a daily brushing routine would be even better), keep his teeth clean, and give him a good diet.

Actually, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel smells the least because of it's physical size and the surface area of the fur= less doggy oder, but the more affectionate and the more trainable one is the Golden and the Labrador Retriever, and they are better with children.
