  1. babies feel like a pinch from needle maybe not that bad but adults can leave scars and blood everywhere they have extremly sharp and jagged teeth. middle aged ones are not as bad as adults but worse than babies.

  2. Well, I've been struck at by everything between a 5 week old, and a twelve year old. Usually happened on feeding days on my mistake for having the scent of mice or rats on my fingers. I'd say it does hurt a little.

A baby BallP's bite its nothing more than a light hit of the head, you could pinch yourself harder.

Adults are different, if they mistake your hand for something else you might as well bleed, but its never serious enough to require real attention. Nothing water and neosporin can't fix. Quite seriously, if you have a cat or a small dog, their bite is worse than an adult ball.

Ball pythons are reluctant to bite tough, if you are asking because you want to get one, a frigthened ball python will first curl into a tight ball before it bites you; or stay in 'strike' (a tight S shape with their necks) for a few minutes before making up its resolve to bite you. I'm not saying that they don't bite, if a snake is untamed and frigthened or your hand smells like food, you'll most likely get struck at.

  3. I have only been bitten by my snake when he was hungry but to me, the part that hurts the most is, he is coiling when he has bitten down on my hand, so his head isn't still and it makes his teeth seem to dig in more.  He is not full grown yet, but yes it does hurt more the older they are, but it isn't a horrible pain or anything.  Getting him to let go is  tricky.  Like I said, he mistook my hand for the mouse, so I had to sortof pry him off of my hand.   I did curse alot, I will tell you that:)  It doesn't bleed too much, but it did leave a bunch of little pinprick holes in the shape of a snake's mouth.

When you learn to read your snake, you know when it is a bad idea to reach in.    Also, be careful when they are shedding because they are blind in that state (when their eyes are whitish), and they might bite out of fear.  Mine hasn't bitten me when he was in that condition, but he does hiss at me then and he never hisses when he isn't blind from a shed.

  4. At fist just like a pinch larger ones can draw fair amounts of blood, not to scare you or anything but i will leave scars
