well they clamp your belly with tongs so you will feel numb /not feeling the neddle poke in your belly it takes less than 4mins i guess not that painful to me

I got mine when I was underage by taking a train to the Village in NYC with my friend. The first tattoo/piercing place asked for my ID so I left there and went..right next door to the next tat place. They didn't ask me for any ID. Not sure if you live near NY at all. I was 16 and my parents wouldn't let me get my bellybutton. It didn't hurt too bad. Bled a little

the clamp hurts- it would hurt anyone i reckon,because i have a high threshold for pain. Just got mine done on 2 days ago. i actually was kicking when it was put on because having it on the navel u just want to curl up, after that i was just saying "push it push it" ( the needle), which doesn't hurt at all really. After that's all done & the clamp comes off there is an overwhemling amount of relief and the immense pain is gone. :-)

if u dont like pain- get anethestic & someone to hold your hand.

I live in New york and my sister who was 15 found this place though its not legal there has to be some place where you live that is doing it illegally

Any reputable company would require a parent/guardian to be present, other companies may have your parents sign a forgeable document giving their permission.

You probably don't want to go to a place that does not require these.

It doesn't hurt much. Get your ears pierced? Pinch your bellybutton real hard with your fingernails for about 3 seconds. Ah! That wasn't so bad, now was it?

Depends, what may be painful to you may not be as painful to others. To me it wasn't painful just more like a hard pinch. As for being underage, most piercer recommend you be atleast 16 with parent or guardian consent  or 18+ to get it on your own. There are those who are unprofessional and work out of there garage and will usually do it just to make a few bucks, I don't recommned you doing that, its not safe and there can be risk such as infections, the piercing might come out crocked, etc.
