Pinch your tongue between your fingers and press as hard as you can.  Piercing will be 50 times worse.  Ever burn your tongue on hot soup? That is minor compared to piercings.

you barely feel it..what you feel is the clamp and thats only a little bit of pressure. biting your tongue hurts way worse. it will be swollen and a little sore afterwards. also..i know i bleed a lot when i got mine done.

no too bad. I bearly felt my touge piercing. My nose piercing hurt more.

Helpful tips:

do not eat anything for about three consecutive day after you initial piercing, if you do, for one it makes your tounge HURT worse and two it can infect your piercing.

constantly use antiseptic mouth wash (**without** the alcohol) to help disinfect and keep the piercing clean. That's it from what I can remember.

You will regret getting that piercing for the first three days. oh yea, and you can't eat hard foods, just foods like jello, nothing you can chew.
