How bad does spacers hurt?

Ha Ha Ha they make your mouth feel REALLY Sore. One of my spacers "fell" out but I put it back in myself. I used two pieces of floss arranged like This -  >O<   - and just flossed it back in...

SOOOOOOOOOO bad.
I actually feel like ripping them out of my mouth.
Well.. one of them ' fell out' actually. but i get it put back in tomorrow.
eat lots of icecream, and drink lots of coffee,tea, or hot chocolate. makes it feel a h**l of a lot better.
