How bad is 20/250 for vision?

I have a prescription of 20/250. Is that bad? Is that bad enough to get lasik eye surgery? Or what prescription would you have to have to get lasik?

20/250 is bad. My vision uncorrected is 20/300, and I'm considered legally blind. Did they say what is causing you do have such bad vision?

It means you need to be at 20 feet to see something a normal person sees at 250 feet. My left eye has perfect 20/20 vision and my right eye has 20/200 vision which can be annoying at times becuse only one eye has perfect vision.

20/250 isn't your prescription...that is your visual acuity.

Your visual acuity can't translate to what prescription you need with accuracy.

When you are decided to look into it, go for a consultation at a laser clinic. They will be able to inform you if you are a good candidate for the surgery.
