How bad is Majorca in early june for mosquitos?

ive been warned about them by a few people,im going to Alcudia.

Alcudia has a large lagoon so yes you could have some problems.Take a plug in for your room and repelent when out.

you do get a few but generally nothing serious. i would advise you taking a strong insect repellant (something with deet in it would be best).

if you are really concerned about it, you could buy a mosquito net to sleep under.

mosquitos here do not carry malaria so any bites would probably not be threatening in any way.

do not worry too much - its europe, not the tropics.

When we went in June there were no problems but a few years later went in September and I was eaten alive. I have fair skin and red hair so every flying insect around homed in on me.

June was fine.

It is good for mosquitos, not so good for you, just pack a spare litre of blood and you should be ok,  Jungle formula and stuff keeps them at bay

you know they don't like citrus smells so make sure you take a lemon or lime smelling shower gel but yep June is the mosquito's holiday time too lol
