  1. The dentist gave me a shot to numb my mouth.  It didn't hurt so much but I felt alot of pressure and heard cracking sounds.  I passed out when I was paying at the front desk afterwards.. lol.  But anyway, I drove myself home, and went to work the next day.  Good luck, Your mouth will be sore for about a week.

  2. umm..you should be able to go and watch but your face will be extremely puffy and it will be hard to eat anything solid, really. i had all 4 of mine extracted at the same time and i won't lie..it is pretty uncomfortable..they'll give you some pain killers though..drink lots of fluids..and don't eat cinnamon applesauce..haha, my biggest mistake..burned soo bad. make sure after you eat to clean your mouth out very well too! best of luck.

  3. if u follow the dentists instructions not only will you be able to wach the match u will be able to chant and scream lol the second day there will be some swelling and make sure u bite on the gauze they put there for an hour and dont rinse for the first day as it wil dislodge the blood clot and that is very painful ....... i hope i helped ! Cee* Bee*

  4. Some people swell up pretty well and look like someone punched them, but after I got all four of my wisdom teeth out (I got put totally under), I had a small dark bruise on the right side of my jaw for about a week. The pain meds pretty much take care of the out right pain, and really although you will want to take a couple of days off of work/school, going to a soccer game should be doable. You won't be laid out in bed by any means! I was taking my nightly walk two hours after my appointment.

  5. hi i have only had one out.it was putting up a bit of a fight but gave up after 5 mins.gum was a bit sore for a couple of days but paracetamol and ibuprofen certainly helped.you should be fine the next morning.just wear a thin scarf over your mouth to keep the cold of our hot british summer out.take care and i hope your team wins.

    regards gjw

  6. I just had mine removed this morning and it's not bad at all. I went into the surgeon's office, sat in the chair, they put a blood pressure monitoring band around my arm, and stuck some other cords near my heart to monitor my heart rate, put an oxygen mask over my nose, put a rubber band around my arm, stuck the IV through for anesthesia, the nurse put a little rubber in my mouth to keep it open, the doctor said "you are going to fall asleep in half a minute", and the next thing I know, I'm awake and the procedure is done. The doctor just asked me to try and stay awake. A minute later, the nurse came over with a wheelchair and wheel chaired me out to the waiting room and my dad brought me home. Now, I'm just applying ice packs, changing the gauze in my mouth, and taking my painkillers (three Motrins plus one vicodin). And I'm not swollen yet or anything. No pain. Nothing. Just occassional drooling cuz it's kinda hard to swallow. So, don't be nervous. Just relax. It's not bad at all.
