my personal answer would be 2

ps. Do not talk about Global warming and this is just a question on what you think about carbon dioxide. Also don't send me emails saying that i am a dumb **** and a F wit cause i got plenty of those recently

  1. it is not bad if there is a balance between CO2 and O2

  2. see its greenhouse gas so in atmosphere it traps terrestrial radiation and warms earth resulting in high temp which leads to many like crops grow in particular range n animals 2 breed in particular range.

its not poisonous but with so much large quantities it creates problem

  3. (1) Without Carbon dioxide, plants would die, then there will be no more oxygen.

  4. I consider CO2 a 1 on your scale. Every living creature exhales it during normal respiration and plants use it during photosynthesis. There’s actually a lot of things on this planet that use CO2.

Francis - Thanks!!! Somehow I completely forgot that Venus is the second planet in our solar system and therefore is closer to the sun than Earth is. I think people on here were trying to get people to believe that Venus is farther from the sun than our planet. Or somehow were trying to state that Saturn also has CO2 in it's atmosphere. Which it doesn't have:

    Per NASA and Saturn's atmosphere:

"Saturn is made mostly of hydrogen and helium. "

    Per NASA and Venus's atmosphere:

"At first glance, if Earth had a twin, it would be Venus. The two planets are similar in size, mass, composition, and distance from the Sun.

But there the similarities end. Venus has no ocean. Venus is covered by thick, rapidly spinning clouds that trap surface heat, creating a scorched greenhouse-like world with temperatures hot enough to melt lead and pressure so intense that standing on Venus would feel like the pressure felt 900 meters deep in Earth's oceans. These clouds reflect sunlight in addition to trapping heat. Because Venus reflects so much sunlight, it is usually the brightest planet in the night sky."

  5. Well it can kill you.

We breathe in oxygen and breath out CO2.

Easy way to suicide. Many illegal immigrant have died in containers this way

  6. the plants thrive on co2 for their food and it very very beneficial. in medical field too.

  7. 1. Carbon dioxide is neccessary for the growth of plant life. Plant life is neccessary for replenishing our oxygen supply. So even though it has no direct purpose for us, it is neccessary in the long run to keep us alive. Also, as long as there isn't too much of it, it's completely harmless to humans.
