How bad is hurricane gustav ?

I think it's a strong category 3, but there is some talk about it hitting Category 5 before making landfall.

In short, really bad.

unless things change dramatically in next day Texas will come out ok....main problem we here in Houston will likely face will be torrential tropical rains and street flooding...which as a friend not from here once told me after one of our "rainstorms" of 6" in an hour or so...." d**n when you people talk rain you mean rain" lol.

It is quite dangerous and may or may not strenghten.  It is a CAT 3 right now planning to hit Late Monday Morning.  So it will be soon.
