How bad is it to inhale black mold?

My frig is gross from accidentally turning it off and leaving it that way for a couple of weeks. I've been cleaning it for four hours with no mask on. How bad is it if the smell circulated the house and inevitably inhaling the smell of the mold? What should I do?

  1. Inhaling a smell won't harm you but inhaling the spores of mould could bring on an asthma attack if you are susceptible. Wipe your fridge out liberally with vanilla essence after you've cleaned it and it will have no odour.

  2. It's not something you should do all the time but once in a while when you are cleaning something should be OK, unless you already have a respiratory problem.  Please don't worry, you will be OK.  I hope you have managed to get your fridge clean.  Something else, if you were cleaning it with a rag and hot soapy water it wouldn't be loose enough to be inhaled.

  3. THE SPORES FROM THE MOLD CAN KILL YOU OR CAN WORSEN AN ASTHMATICS CONDITION.
