How bad is it when some gas pumps are basically telling us, "We can't handle the high prices either!"

Well, there's our answer!  Gas will never go over $3.99 a gallon.  Whew! I was getting worried.

actually the people who are in control of the gas is being very smart....gass should be around 5$, but what they are doing is letting u into the buying....when gas was a dollar...would still buy gas if one day it jumpped to 3.25..no...just like if gas was 3, and then it jumpped to 5..u wouldnt buy...but they are going to 5$ cent by cent so u dont get too scared, we strive for 2.95...soon we will strive for 4$

When I go to the gas station and the "4" is all hand-written on cardboard, that is a bad sign

It's bad.  I heard will go as high as $9 or 10 in 2009.
