How bad is rubbing alcohol for your skin?

I have really bad bacne (acne on my back) and the only thing that helps keep it under control is when I apply rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball. How bad for my skin is this? What will happen if I continue to do this?

it causes the skin to seriously dry up and try to find a moisturizer for your skin type

alcohol only causes the skin to overcompensate and produce even more oil....thus , more acne.  Try the Murad line of products.
