  1. If you get Japanese straightening and do not have thick hair (and a lot of it too) you will damage it. It might look good when you first do it because it will straight and shiny, but if you kept up with that and have fine hair you will start losing more hair than you already are from flat ironing it.

A GREAT product to use on your hair is called Cowboy Magic..put it on before straightening your hair and it soaks and protects the cuticles so they don't get damaged from the heat.

You should always have some type of silicon gel or heat protector spray when using any type of heat related products on your hair!

  2. Haha, the answer before was funny.

I had that done and my hair felt AWESOME afterward. I would recommend it to anyone. Although it can be expensive and depending on the length of your hair...it can take a long time. Mine took 5 hours to do. One thing if you think you're NEVER going to have to use a straightener think again. If your hair is like mine you still have to run it through a few times.

The good thing, my hair used to stand on end. After I had that done it doesn't do that anymore... and I got it done three years ago and didn't do it again. Everyone I know that had it done had the same results. It like changes the hair follicles. It relaxes your hair.

I loved it. but my butt hurt from sitting for that long

  3. it´s very good and it dont damage the hair much

  4. My fiancee did it a year ago and it stayed straight until it grew out, it basically SHOCKS your hair straight, and if that is good for it or not I do not know, but she was happy with the results since she is gettig it done again later this month.

  5. what exactly is japanese straightening?

  6. it might make it a little better but its also close to 1,000 dollars.

and u have to get your roots redone every 3 month and it still cost 1,000 just for ur roots.

not to mention you have to tip them about 100 dollars.

a Brazilian straightening or a reverse perm cost ALOT less and they last for about six months.
