  1. I would not call the rainy season "bad," maybe just inconvenient.  You can still enjoy the beaches and other activities without the rain causing any disruptions; an umbrella comes in handy along with plastic bags for cameras, clothing, etc.  October is usually the heaviest rainfall month, though Guanacaste is dryer than most other parts of Costa Rica.

  2. June is not peak of the rainy season, and Guanacaste is very dry compared to the rest of Costa Rica.  If I recall, there were fairly frequent showers but they weren't very long and left the rest of the day clear.  Kind of refreshing in the heat anyway.

  3. it's gonna be pretty rainy, but not nearly as much as in the central valley, ie. san jose, alajuela, or on the atlantic coast, like say in puerto limon.  guanacaste is the driest spot in costa rica.

  4. I've been to guanacaste in June and it really isn't that bad as far as the weather goes. Typically it will be sunny in the mornings and then rain for several hours in the late afternoon and then clear up for the evening.

  5. At the beaches it is still warm, usually rains in the afternoon

  6. Weather is pretty good., you can still be out on the beach a lot.    If you go in late June you may experience the "Veranillo de San Juan" (St. John's little summer) when the weather is perfect.
