How bad is traffic from/to West Vancouver from/to downtown?

I am new in Vancouver and started looking for a property in West Vancouver area. I'd like to know how bad traffic is from/to West Vancouver to/from downtown via lions gate bridge. On average, what time does the traffic begins towards to Downtown? and West Vancouver?

wow, things have changed it used to take me 20 mins when i worked at plaza of nations. but that was 10 years ago.
