Question:

How bad of an infection do I really have?

I went to the ER for a kidney infection and he showed me a piece of paper that said the infection was greater than or equal to 100,000. that was the only piece i could see before he pulled it away and told me that it was a quote "rip-roaring infection". Then he only gave me a shot of gentomyacin and claimed to give me a Rx for pain meds which I never got. So is that a bad sign of infection or what? Also the fact that I had flank pain, nausea, and other various symptoms for a week. My primary care physicians are idiots and wouldnt know a good treatment if the AMA descended upon them and graced them with answers. Got any insight?
