How bad were the Eagles today???

They took tanking to a new low today, the Demons celebrations were a little low key in my book I reckon they knew the WCE were on the nose!! Demitriou must now acknowledge that some teams are indeed puting there cue in the rack long before seasons end! I know the eagles broken any rules but serously is this the way we want the game to go??? Winning at all costs must always be the preffered option than losing for a purpose.

I hate the fact they have been so good (almost too good) in the previous years, that we get paid out for being 15th and wanting draft picks. Why on earth would they win against essendon, saints and especially Adelaide if they planned on losing against the bottom team and be criticised and paid out by people like you.

If the AFL were going to change the system the would/should have done it when the most obvious tanking when Carlton  lost purposely to get one of the best players in the game, don't do it now, they should have done it then!

The eagles were the ones who were punished/affected by carltons tanking last year, by losing our premiership captain, so don't now tell us off when you think we are tanking (when were not!) this year!

I think you know that you are pretty bad when Melbourne beat you!

But West Coast, seriously. What has happened to them in the past couple of years? One season, they are holding that premiship cup high above their heads but in this 2008 season, they have been quite honestly, pathetic! Guess Juddy really made a bug difference in the team.

we didnt have the game on tv here in adelaide. But i read about it on the afl website. I think wce have to really rebuild if they want to get somewhere next year. But im so impressed with the way that the Adelaide Crows played today, finally broked the 18year drought

They were bad. Melbourne should have tanked, they made this mistake last year by winning against Carlton, and look how much the Blues have benefited! Should be interesting to see who ends up with the Spoon.
